Story Synopsis:
Prim and proper Jane Ryan (Ashley) is in New York for a speech competition, hoping to win a scholarship to Oxford University. But wait a Minute, her unruly twin sister Roxy (Mary-Kate) just happens to be cutting school and in the Big Apple at the same time. With the school's truant officer Mr. Lomax (Levy) closing in on Roxy and with Jane running out of time before her speech is due to start, the girls find themselves involved in one scandal after another, while discovering that they are much more alike than they ever could have imagined. (Tricia Littrell)
DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 DVD picture is bright and ultracolorful with a slick look that is eye candy for pre-teens. Reds and pinks pop from the screen, as do equally vivid blues and greens, with deep, solid blacks. The picture is also sharp and nicely detailed, with well balanced contrast and shadow delineation. While viewers will be hard-pressed to find any obtrusive edge enhancement, some pixelization and smearing is noticed. (Suzanne Hodges)
