    Story Synopsis:

    DVD Picture:
    The anamorphically enhanced 2.40:1 DVD picture exhibits a desaturated color palette with a gritty appearance that is complementary to the storytelling. Within the darker scenes, shadow delineation is well balanced. Images are sharp and nicely detailed, though some scenes appear somewhat soft at times. Edge enhancement and pixelization are minimal in this excellent presentation. (Suzanne Hodges)
