Story Synopsis:
Grace Margaret Mulligan (Kidman) is a young woman who wanders into the town of Dogville while seeking escape from gangsters. Tom Edison (Bettany) decides that Dogville is just the place for Grace and convinces the townsfolk to let her stay. Suddenly things take a turn for the worse when the authorities and the gangsters come looking for Grace...and it seems the fate of the young woman is decided once and for all. Dogville is performed as a stage play with minimal props and is narrated by John Hurt. (Tricia Littrell)
