DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 DVD picture offers satisfying image quality for this stage performance. Colors pop from the screen with the impressive bright blue stage lighting engulfing Connick and saturating his band, while blacks are deep and solid, and fleshtones can be nicely balanced. While images are generally sharp, there is some minor smearing and a few scenes that are more softly focused. (Suzanne Hodges)
