DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 DVDs exhibit this television series with satisfying image quality. While the picture can have a slightly soft appearance, details can be nicely rendered. Bright whites often appear hazy, creating a glowing look in many scenes throughout the series. Colors are well balanced, with accurate fleshtones and deep blacks. The picture can appear a bit dim and wanting in more contrast. While edge enhancement is not a problem with this set, there is some pixelization noticed. (Suzanne Hodges)
