    The anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 DVDs for this entire collection exhibit images that can be sharp and detailed, though many scenes are soft or have a hazy appearance. Colors are well balanced, with accurate fleshtones and generally deep blacks. At times, contrast can seem slightly low, but shadow delineation appears to be quite natural. Flecks of dirt and minor scratches are noticed in the source element. Edge enhancement is not a problem with this series, but there is some minor smearing and occasional
