Story Synopsis:
In the early 90s, the heightened drug problem in Dublin, Ireland inspired journalist Veronica Guerin (Blachett) to expose the underground druglords in The Sunday Independent. Fearless in her approach, Veronica uses thug John Traynor (Hinds) to get the names of mobsters responsible for dealing. Even after numerous threats to her and her family and a gunshot wound to the leg, Veronica could not be silenced.
