Story Synopsis:
While taking a bathroom break in a seedy bar, English teacher Frannie Avery (Ryan) witnesses a couple in the midst of a sexual encounter. Hiding in the shadows and watching unobserved, Frannie is surprised when homicide detective Malloy (Ruffalo) turns up at her apartment to question her regarding the murder of the woman involved in the sexual act. As Frannie becomes involved with Malloy, more women turn up dead, and the man she has become obsessed with soon becomes Frannie

DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.85:1 DVD picture is nicely rendered with warm, well balanced colors, natural fleshtones, and deep blacks. The picture is sharp and detailed, with pleasing shadow delineation and contrast, despite many dimly lit interior scenes. The picture is quite clean, with little in the way of distracting pixelization or edge enhancement. (Suzanne Hodges)
