Story Synopsis:
This British production about the seminal days of flight in the early 1900
DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 2.20:1 DVD picture looks great, showcasing a 65mm restoration and remastering effort. Colors are nicely saturated, with mostly accurate (sometimes reddish) fleshtones, rich hues, and deep blacks. The picture is sharp and nicely detailed, with well balanced contrast and shadow delineation. A few flecks of dirt are noticed in the source element. There is little in the way of smearing or edge enhancement, though some pixelization is noticed. (Suzanne Hodges)
