The anamorphically enhanced 2.35:1 DVD picture exhibits colors that are often a bit hot and border on oversaturation. Still, fleshtones can appear to be well balanced and blacks are deep and solid. Images are sharp and nicely detailed, with satisfying contrast and shadow delineation. The picture can have a flat, slightly smeared appearance, with occasional detail loss.
