Story Synopsis:
Planning to snag the world's most valuable object, the Book of Peace, and then retire to Fiji, Sinbad (Pitt) has to fight his longtime friend Proteus (Fiennes) for the treasure. But before he can get too far, a sea monster attacks them both and the Legend Of The Seven Seas is only just beginning! Eris, the Goddess of Discord, (Pfeiffer) wants the book for herself, and she is determined to have it when she instructs Sinbad to steal the prize for her. With promises of good fortune from Eris, Sinbad goes after the book but soon discovers that she cannot be trusted, and he learns a valuable lesson along the way. (Tricia Littrell)
DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.85:1 DVD exhibits animated images that will completely engulf the entire family with its vibrant, richly saturated color palette. The animation is sharp and nicely detailed, with excellent dimension. The picture is smooth and clean, virtually free from any distractions. Only occasionally do lines have a soft or slightly haloed appearance, but that is just a nitpick on an otherwise superlative digital-to-digital transfer. (Suzanne Hodges)
Soundtrack:
The Dolby
