DVD Picture:
This stage performance is not anamorphically enhanced and exhibits your typical lower resolution anomalies as a result. Aliasing problems shimmer on the instruments, details have a stair-stepping effect, and the picture can appear downright blurry at times. Other times, sharpness is decent. Smaller home theatre displays may not reveal such distractions so obviously, but the picture is really quite annoying on a seven foot wide screen. On the positive side, the colors are very well balanced, with natural fleshtones, vibrant stage lighting and deep blacks. Contrast and shadow delineation are also quite natural. This 1.78:1 picture serves just fine for fans who just want to enjoy the music of Gov
