Story Synopsis:
Ryan Chang (Lee) is a cop working for T.E.C., the Time Enforcement Commission in "Timecop: The Berlin Decision" (aka "Timecop 2"). His mission is to protect the past from the present as he goes after jumpers who think they can beat the system. Knowing that the past has been locked in time, arbitrated by time, defined by time, he hunts down those who take advantage of knowing the outcome of a situation. From Germany during Hitler
DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.85:1 DVD exhibits a stylized picture with filtered images that often have a pink or reddish tinge throughout the color scheme for the soft, hazy scenes that take place in the old western town. Others have a gritty, monochromatic and highly contrasted appearance. When the movie breaks away from those sequences, the color fidelity is rich and well balanced with accurate fleshtones, vibrant hues, and deep blacks. Minor distractions come in the way of edge enhancement and pixelization, but nothing that is terribly obtrusive to an otherwise nicely rendered picture. Now if only Universal would consider releasing the first "Timecop" in widescreen format. (Suzanne Hodges)
