    The anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 DVD, available for the first time in widescreen, exhibits a picture with dated fidelity, as colors appear a bit weak with brownish fleshtones. While sharpness is acceptable, finer details are lacking. A soft, hazy appearance is inherent in the filmmaking. Contrast, as well, is slightly low.
