Story Synopsis:
Henry Turner (Ford) is a ruthless attorney who won't let anything get in his way in order to win a case. Treating his young daughter and his wife Sarah (Bening) with the same coldness he shows in the courtroom, his home life is of little importance to him. After getting shot in the head one night, Henry wakes in the hospital to find that his motor skills aren't functioning properly and that his memory has been deeply affected. Unable to remember anything about his former life he begins on the road to a new future, but what he discovers Regarding the old Henry leaves him feeling ashamed and wanting to make amends for all the past heartache he has caused. (Tricia Littrell)
DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 DVD picture exhibits images that can appear a bit soft or hazy, but are otherwise nicely detailed, with satisfying textures and clarity. Colors are nicely balanced with rich hues, deep blacks, and accurate fleshtones. The source element is revealing of some film grain and artifacts, but nothing that is considered excessive. Edge enhancement and pixelization are not much of a problem with this title. Overall, the picture has a slightly dated fidelity, but is otherwise nicely rendered. (Suzanne Hodges)
