Story Synopsis:
After folk music icon Irving Steinbloom died, his son Jonathan (Balaban) wanted to pay tribute to his dad by way of a memorial concert performed by the groups that he used to represent. Bringing together such folk singers as The Folksmen, Mitch & Mickey, and The Main Street Singers became quite a challenge for Jonathan as he was determined to do the concert in only two weeks. Presented as a mockumentary, "A Mighty Wind" explores the wacky backgrounds of the folksy people
