The anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 DVD exhibits a concert performance that is very nicely rendered. The picture is often divided into a split-screen of shots of the stage and audience, or of Cher and her band or dancers. Depending on the camera, the picture can be sharp and impressively detailed, with even wig fly-always appearing nicely delineated. Yet, other camera angles can be a bit blurry or undefined. The color scheme is rich with vibrant stage lighting, natural fleshtones and deep blacks. Aliasing problems and shimmering can be noticed, as well as some occasional pixelization. However, edge enhancement is rarely an issue. (Suzanne Hodges)
Soundtrack:
The 5.1 audio mix is outstanding with a clean, lively, very well-recorded presence and abundant deep bass foundation. The entire soundstage is energetic throughout with the surrounds conveying the concert venue ambience and the center channel carrying Cher
