DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced and windowboxed/pillarboxed 1.66:1 DVD exhibits a dated picture, with slightly soft, hazy images, though details can, at times, appear to be nicely rendered. Colors are slightly inconsistent, at times appearing undersaturated with pale hues and fleshtones, while other times more fully saturated and natural. There are some flecks of dirt noticed in the source element, but no excessive film grain. Pixelization causes the breakup of finer details, and edge enhancement can also be a problem.(Suzanne Hodges)
