DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 2.35:1 DVD exhibits a bright and colorful picture, with bold blues and reds, natural fleshtones, and deep blacks. There is some minor loss of fine details and minor smearing. Contrast and shadow delineation can be well balanced. Edge enhancement and pixelization (which can create a digital appearance) are occasional distractions in this otherwise suitable picture for the genre. (Suzannne Hodges)
