The anamorphically enhanced 2.35:1 DVD exhibits a picture with a gritty texture that seems to visually complement the storytelling. The color scheme is rich with thick bold hues. Blacks are unparalleled in depth, and viewing in a completely blackened room is recommended for the extremely dark scenes (like Chapters 10 through 12).
