Story Synopsis:
"Faith Hill: When The Lights Go Down" is a television special that follows what has been one great year for the lovely Faith Hill, who has made a successful crossover from country music to pop. DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 DVD exhibits a colorful picture that is a mixture of concert performances and backstage footage. Bright red and blue stage lighting provides vibrant contrast to black backgrounds. Images are sharp and detailed, with fine facial details and clarity. Shots into the audience can also be well defined, but some shots (depending on the source element) can appear a bit undefined. Occasional pixelization and minor edge enhancement are noticed, but nothing that is too problematic. (Suzanne Hodges)
Soundtrack:
The 5.1 audio has been very well-recorded and features impressive spatiality. The soundstage is aggressively and energetically engaged throughout, with the surrounds conveying the ambience of the performance environments. There
