    Story Synopsis:
    "Read My Lips" ("Sur Mes Levres") is a tense crime thriller that finds Carla (Devos), a long-time secretary for a property development company, frustrated with the limitations of her career. But as a 35-year-old woman with a hearing deficiency, she is not sure how to move up, though she is confident in her own abilities. Into her life comes Paul Angeli (Cassel), a new trainee who also happens to be a thief, fresh out of jail, and very good looking...and who just might be able to help her. (Suzanne Hodges)

    The anamorphically enhanced 1.85:1 DVD exhibits images that are sharp and detailed, with nicely rendered facial and clothing textures. Colors are often quite natural, though some scenes are stylized with sterile blue overtones. Fleshtones are accurately rendered and blacks are deep and solid.
