  WSR Narrative Review
Story Synopsis:
Based on Dale Wasserman

DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.85:1 DVD exhibits a picture with dated characteristics. Sharpness and details are generally satisfying, though sometimes the picture can have a softer appearance or appear somewhat blurry. Contrast and shadow delineation are adequate. The color scheme is understated, with lots of browns and undefined blacks that, at times, seem lacking in true depth. The source element is revealing of some dirt and grain at times. Edge enhancement is noticed, but is not terribly obtrusive, and pixelization is also generally limited. (Suzanne Hodges)
