    Story Synopsis:
    Smoke Galloway (Fishburne) is the leader of the Black Knights motorcyle club; the biggest baddest bike rider on two wheels. The undefeated "King of Cali" will take on anyone who challenges him to a race and is afraid of no one. But when young hotshot rider Kid (Luke) forms his own renegade club, the

    DVD Picture:
    The anamorphically enhanced 1.85:1 DVD exhibits a picture with richly saturated colors that are well balanced with accurate fleshtones; bold reds and blues; and deep, solid blacks. Images are sharp and detailed, with satisfying textures and clarity into backgrounds. There are many scenes that take place at night, and shadow delineation is very nicely rendered when the picture is viewed in a completely blackened room. A gritty texture is provided by film grain inherent in the source element. There is some pixelization noticed at times, and edge enhancement can occasionally be a problem. (Suzanne Hodges)
