DVD Picture:
The anamorpically enhanced 1.85:1 DVD exhibits a picture with color stylizations that leave the picture awash in blue overtones and high contrast with blown out bluish whites. Images are sharp and detailed, though there are a few times when the picture has a slightly smeared appearance. The dim visual style of the picture nicely complements the setting and storytelling. Minor pixelization and edge enhancement are noticed on occasion. (Suzanne Hodges)
