Story Synopsis:
Bruno Stachel (Peppard) was a nothing until being promoted to a pilot in the German air force during World War I, where he strived to earn The Blue Max -- the country

DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 2.35:1 DVD picture certainly has a dated quality, but with images that can be generally sharp and revealing of nicely rendered details at times. Edge enhancement is a distraction with this title, and pixelization can, at times, create a digital appearance. (Suzanne Hodges)
