DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.85:1 DVD exhibits a picture that is generally sharp and detailed, though some scenes can have a slightly soft focus or appear somewhat smeared in the backgrounds. Colors are richly saturated, with accurate fleshtones and deep blacks. Contrast and shadow delineation are perfectly balanced for a very natural appearance. There is some minor edge enhancement that can be noticed in certain scenes, and pixelization is also quite limited. Overall, this DVD is quite natural looking with a clean, solid picture that is more than suitable for the storytelling. (Suzanne Hodges)
Soundtrack:
The 5.1 audio presentations are reserved in spatial soundstaging character. Fidelity is very impressive, though. The music, like many other movies, essentially carries the dimensionality for this soundtrack.
