The anamorphically enhanced DVD and D-VHS

Soundtrack:
The two multichannel soundtracks for the DVD, with back surround, feature a combination of documentary-style sound, dominated by dialgoue, and music performance sessions that are full of energy and dimensional engagement. The latter downright fills the listening space, fully utilizing the back surround channel. There's also very generous doses of low-end energy, with aggressive utilization of the LFE channel. Bass extension is extremely deep, extending to below 25 Hz. The recording quality for the musical sessions is excellent. The dialgoue-dominant sequences are usually adequate in delivery, though voices can sometimes sound somewhat brittle, and are also mono-centric.
