Story Synopsis:
Once upon a time, there was a plaid overnight case...actually, there were several plaid overnight cases, which conveniently (or inconveniently) get all mixed up in Peter Bogdanovich
DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 DVD exhibits a picture that is nicely saturated, with well balanced colors, despite slightly dated fidelity. Fleshtones appear quite natural, though at times a bit orange, and blacks are deep and solid. Images are generally sharp, though a soft focus is often utilized. Sometimes the picture looks a bit hazy, and the source element is revealing of a few artifacts. There is some pixelization noticed at times, but edge enhancement is rarely detected. (Suzanne Hodges)
Soundtrack:
The Dolby Digital 1.0 audio, with the exception of the dated fidelity and associated artifacts, is quite undistinguished in nature. The dialogue sounds abundantly clear and intelligible. Subtle background hiss is present. (Perry Sun)
