    DVD Picture:
    Mislabeled on the jacket as being anamorphic, the 1.78:1 DVD is not anamorphically enhanced and exhibits a slightly soft picture, though details can be nicely rendered at times. Colors are well balanced, with accurate fleshtones and deep blacks. The snow scenes have an appropriately cold feeling, with lots of blues, grays, and whites. Finer details are noticed shimmering at times. Edge enhancement can be noticed, but it is the slightly blurry appearance that is most annoying. (Suzanne Hodges)
