After seducing a model at the Cannes Film Festival Laure makes off with the diamonds she was wearing, but not before photographer Nicolas Bardo (Banderas) takes her photo. Laure makes her way to the United States and manages to make a new life for herself marrying a high-profile politician. The new Mrs. Watts, however, keeps herself out of the limelight and no-one seems to know much about her. That is until Bardo lands an assignment to find out more about the mysterious wife. Can Laure keep her past safely hidden or is her world about to come crashing down on her? (Tricia Littrell)
