The anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 DVD has a bit of a dated appearance and is soft at times with slightly low contrast. Still, details and definition can be satisfying. Colors are nicely balanced, with accurate fleshtones and deep generally blacks. The source element is revealing of some film grain and occasional artifacts.
