DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.85:1 DVD exhibits a lovely picture, with sharp and detailed images. Colors are rich and well balanced, with accurate fleshtones and deep blacks. The color blue is used thematically throughout, for mood and symbolism. Occasionally, the picture has a slightly plugged-up appearance. The picture is quite smooth, with little pixelization or edge enhancement. (Suzanne Hodges)
