The anamorphically enhanced 1.85:1 DVD offers a generally satisfying appearance for such a somber film, with a dim character overall. While many scenes can have a soft character, detail is generally satisfying. The picture seems to have been filmed in lots of natural light environments, so the darker scenes offer limited visual information. Colors can be naturally balanced, with accurate fleshtones and deep blacks. Edge enhancement can be a problem, and there is some bothersome pixelization as well. Moir
