When young Winnie Foster (Bledel) wanders away and gets lost in the woods she happens upon the family and immediately is drawn to them. Different from her own strict and overprotective parents (Garber & Irving), Winnie longs to stay with the Tuckers, especially after falling in love with Jesse. When Winnie discovers the family secret, that the spring on their property is magic and anyone who drinks from it will never age and die, she thinks the news is wonderful. The family feels otherwise, however, especially given the fact that Jesse is 104 years old living in a 17 year old's body. Vowing to love each other forever, Winnie is left with the decision to live out her life as everyone else or to drink from the fountain of youth and never grow old. "Tuck Everlasting" is based on the book by Natalie Babbitt. (Tricia Littrell)
