DVD Picture:
Making its widescreen-format home video debut, the anamorphically enhanced 2.35:1 DVD exhibits a bright picture that has some slightly dated characteristics. Images can have a slightly soft appearance, but details can be nicely rendered. Colors are nicely balanced, with natural fleshtones and saturation, though slightly pale at times. The source element is revealing of some grain, dirt, and scratches. Edge enhancement is not much of a problem with this title, though there is some pixelization. (Suzanne Hodges)
