The anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 DVD opens with classic footage of Freddie Mercury that, thankfully, does not set the bar for the concert footage. Image quality throughout the concert is pleasantly clean. Images can be sharp and detailed, though, depending on the camera and the angle, shots of the full stage can be wanting in definition and clarity. Under the stage lighting, images can also appear smeared. Colors are rich and nicely balanced. Shimmering details and aliasing problems are noticed on occasion.
