Story Synopsis:
While investigating a number of murders in Manhattan, Detective Mike Reilly (Dorff) discovers that the victims have one thing in common
DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 2.35:1 DVD exhibits an appropriately dark picture that should be viewed in a completely blackened room to fully appreciate the visual information in the darkest scenes. Images are sharp and nicely detailed, though some shots can have a hazy appearance. Colors are nicely rendered with well-balanced fleshtones, but the picture also has a cold, bluish tinge to enhance the chilling feel of the story. As the movie reaches its climax, nearly all color is removed for stark, dramatically frightening visuals. There is minimal edge enhancement, and only occasional pixelization apparent.
