Contrast appears to be a bit low, and bright backgrounds appear blown-out and hazy. While images are generally sharp, fine detail, definition, and clarity are wanting. Colors appear dated, but still have a level of natural balance with accurate fleshtones and deep blacks. Grain and artifacts are inherent in the source element and can appear excessive at times. Pixelization can breakup finer details, but edge enhancement is kept to a minimum. Overall, the visual experience is generally mediocre. (Suzanne Hodges)
