The anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 DVD exhibits a picture that is bright, with sharp and detailed images. Colors are fully saturated, with accurate fleshtones and deep blacks. Contrast and shadow delineation are also quite nicely balanced. There is only some minor edge enhancement and occasional pixelization that can distract from otherwise excellent image quality.
