DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 DVD offers image quality that is quite satisfying, with sharp and nicely rendered details and definition. Colors are fully saturated with rich hues, accurate fleshtones and deep blacks. The picture, expectedly, has the typical varying qualities of a documentary. At times minor shimmering and pixel breakup can be noticed on finer details. Depending on the footage, the picture can be downright smeared or riddled with artifacts.
