DVD Picture:
The animated and anamorphically enhanced 1.85:1 Superbit picture exhibits a noticeably cleaner picture, lacking compression problems on the previous version. Edge enhancement is still apparent, but does not seem quite as glaring. Images are sharp and finely detailed throughout. The animated colors are rich, with full saturation and excellent dimension. Still, there is some film grain noticed, but its presence is not nearly as bothersome as with the previous release. Overall, the picture is quite satsifying. (Suzanne Hodges)
