    Story Synopsis:
    The story, as told by Antonio Salieri (Abraham in his Academy

    DVD Picture:
    The anamorphically enhanced 2.35:1 DVD exhibits a picture that is slightly improved over the previously released DVD. Finer details are more discernable on this new version, and there is a level of crisp clarity that is slightly higher than the previous version. Still, many scenes have a soft or slightly smeared appearance. Colors are rich and well balanced, with nicely rendered fleshtones and generally deep blacks. The source element is revealing of some dirt and grain. Edge enhancement and pixelization are often noticed. (Suzanne Hodges)
