DVD Picture:
The anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 DVD exhibits satisfying concert footage, though someone should have laid off the fog machine in the beginning of the show. Colors are nicely balanced, even under the stage lighting. Images appear sharp and exhibit pleasing depth and dimension. The small venue concert offers close-up photography of the band, giving a you-are-there feeling. Images shimmer with occasional aliasing problems, and minor pixelization is noticed. (Suzanne Hodges)
Soundtrack:
The 5.1-channel presentations are well-recorded and offer a nicely refined, pleasing surround sound presence. However, the segments in between the performances are rather peculiar, with a noticeable balance of the soundfield toward the surrounds. The entire soundstage is aggressively enlivened throughout, and there is a plenty to offer in the low end with prominent .1 LFE activity. The DTS
