The discrete 5.1 audio tracks have been mastered at a level considerably higher than film reference. The music has been very nicely recorded, with a strong spatial presence, especially in the surrounds. It is a 4.1 mix without the center channel. This center is reserved for the narrative and sound effects, which in turn are spread throughout the listening space. Voices sound quite natural, though somewhat forward. Like other IMAX productions, there's quite an abundance in terms of deep bass.
