    The anamorphically enhanced 1.85:1 DVD exhibits a colorful picture, with richly saturated hues, generally natural fleshtones, and deep blacks. Images are sharp and detailed, with nicely rendered contrast and shadow delineation. At times, the high-def-originated picture can appear

    The 5.1-channel audio presentations are characterized by commendable fidelity and a fairly pleasing sense of spaciousness. The soundstage is often balanced toward the screen channels, yet the surrounds, when selectively active (both subtly and prominently), nicely envelop the listener.
