Westinghouse Digital, one of the leading LED TV manufacturers in the U.S., announces a new 50” LED HDTV that is Roku Ready® at CE Week 2013 at the Metropolitan Pavilion in New York City, June 26 - 27 in booth #58. In addition to the 50-inch IPTV introduction, Westinghouse Digital will also feature a full line of LED 4K UHD TVs.

The Westinghouse Digital Roku Ready line of LED TVs feature a Mobile High Definition Link (MHL) port which allows users to simply plug in a Roku Streaming Stick™, a flash-stick sized device that features the popular Roku streaming platform.  Within moments, the TV is recognized by the consumer's home Wi-Fi network allowing the user to connect to the world of content provided by Roku.

Rey Roque, Senior Vice President of Marketing at Westinghouse Digital said, “Westinghouse Digital believes that there is a tremendous future in the connected TV market, but we must protect the consumer against obsolescence. The American public is getting very tired of buying all kinds of new technology built into smart TVs only to discover that the features are outdated two years from now. Westinghouse Digital is offering value-added smart TV options.  With the Roku Streaming Stick, consumers can access our 700 channels in an easily upgradeable platform. They no longer have to spend hundreds of extra dollars to get the latest HDTV with streaming options. Westinghouse Digital is offering sensible and consumer conscious options.”
