    Digital Projection Expands HIGHlite Series of High Brightness, High Value 3-Chip Displays with Two New Projectors

    Digital Projection International (DPI), an Emmy® Award-winning manufacturer of high-performance projection systems, announces the addition of two new DLP

    150%;">® displays to the high brightness, high value HIGHlite Cine series.  The 4,500 lumen HIGHlite Cine 330 and 8,000 lumen HIGHlite Cine 660 join the existing high-contrast and high-brightness HIGHlite Cine 260 models.  The new HIGHlite models continue in the 260’s legacy of delivering bright, accurate imagery to large screens in any room of the home.  Conservatively priced for such high-performance projectors, HIGHlite Series displays begin at the $23,995 price point. 

     

    Projectors need brightness to create a dazzling entertainment experience – especially in venues with larger screens or ambient light - and DPI’s new HIGHlite displays have the power to impress in most any home venue.  Equally suited to both dedicated theaters and living spaces with some ambient light, the HIGHlite

    330 and 660 allow enthusiasts to consider options outside the traditional home cinema concept.  The high lumen output and rich contrast allow the Cine projectors to thrive in dedicated home theaters with screens up to 12’ wide and beyond, as well as in outdoor spaces, media rooms and other unconventional locations.  The sleek and quiet chassis, 1080p resolution, integrated electronics and straightforward user interface make the HIGHlite Cine 260, 330 and 660 viable solutions for installations where simplicity, low entry cost and imaging quality are paramount.

     

    HIGHlite displays fill a key position in DPI’s home entertainment product line.  Both the award-winning 3-chip TITAN Reference 1080p and LIGHTNING Reference 1080p are already well established as providing the pinnacle of imaging

    performance for the most elite home cinemas in the world. Additionally, the single-chip iVision, dVision and M-Vision product lines are widely recognized for their precision and image quality for smaller screens.  The new HIGHlite displays deliver DLP® 3-chip image fidelity for a variety of home applications with medium to large screens, at a price point more akin to the top end of the single-chip product line. 

     

    Installation is flexible due to the HIGHlite Cine’s compact chassis design and extraordinary lens shift range of 120% vertical and 30% horizontal.. Multiple lens options provide further flexibility, with .77 and 1.16:1 fixed lenses plus zoom lenses with throw ratios ranging from 1.45 – 6.76:1.  Connectivity includes two HDMI inputs on the HIGHlite Cine 330 and one on the Cine 660, as well as RGB via D-15, component, composite and S-Video inputs. 

     

    DPI will be demonstrating numerous new 2D and 3D precision projectors throughout a newly-designed 60’ x 60’ booth (#4340) at CEDIA Expo 2011 from September 7 – 10 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
