 Panamax today announced its first PRO series power management products featuring BlueBOLT™ — hosted IP (Internet Protocol) system control over compatible Panamax products. For an optimal home theater experience, the M4315-PRO (15A) and M4320-PRO (20A) combine unprecedented control to reduce service calls with "pro" level linear noise filtration for enhanced audio and video system performance. With BlueBOLT, an innovative Web-based power management interface, custom electronics installers and integrators can power-cycle all eight individual M4315-PRO and M4320-PRO outlets from any Web browser or Web-enabled mobile device — dramatically reducing service calls. Unlike some competitive Web-connected power management devices, BlueBOLT-enabled devices automatically connect to www.mybluebolt.com — a Panamax and Furman hosted Web site — without requiring complicated network/router setup, port forwarding, or static IP addresses. The BlueBOLT-CV1 IP card comes pre-installed, allowing custom installers and integrators (and/or end users) to simply log on and take control. The M4315-PRO and M4320-PRO also include a standard two-way RS-232 communication card for remote control of all 8 individual rear panel outlets, enabling installers to automate equipment functionality. The 1-RU products come in a 19-inch PRO rack width featuring four isolated linear filtered outlet banks, integrated rack ears, and a detachable 15A IEC power cord (20A for 20A model). Two dedicated front-panel reboot buttons allow power cycling for individual outlets instead of powering down an entire bank of outlets. "More than ever, integrators are seeking out solutions that reduce service calls to lower costs and provide their customers with a better A/V experience," said Dave Keller, senior vice president of sales and marketing for Panamax/Furman. "Even today, the hard reboot is still the most dependable problem solver for electronic equipment," Keller continued. Combined with 'pro' level linear filtration for the highest audio and video system performance, the M4315-PRO and M4320-PRO have set a new standard for power management in home theaters." The M4315-PRO and M4320-PRO are available now, at MSRPs of $649.95 and $749.95, respectively.
