    THETA DIGITAL DEBUTS COMPLI BLU UNIVERSAL DISC TRANSPORT

    The most widely acclaimed manufacturer of high-end audio components, Theta Digital, is introducing an all-new universal disc transport.

     

    The COMPLI BLU will step into the spotlight as Theta’s new Blu-ray disc player,

    destined to become yet another benchmark in the long line or reference quality transports from Theta Digital.

     

    Highlights of capabilities:

     

    1. Precision playback of all relevant disc formats: BD-Video, DVD-Video, SACD, DVD-Audio, HDCD, CD, CD-R/RW, DVD+/- R/RW, DVD+/- R DL, BD- R/RE, AVCHD and Kodak Picture CD.
    2. Pure playback of DTS®-HD High Resolution Audio, DTS-HD Master Audio, DTS, Dolby® True HD, Dolby Digital Plus, and Dolby Digital audio processing along with 7.1 analog audio outputs.
    3. HDMI 1.3 port provides 36 bit and 30 bit Deep Color video output as well as DSD and LPCM audio output.
    4. VRS™ by Anchor Bay for the highest levels of video performance, including 1080P 24/50/60 Hz output.
    5. RS-232 for external control from Crestron®, AMX®, etc, and integration with other Theta Digital Products.

    I saw my first issue in a newsstand two years ago. The movie reviews caught my attention right away. They were extremely thorough with their inclusion of such items as release dates, aspect ratios, and list of main creators like cinematographer, director, and writers.
